This experience will be invaluable at Effecta when training Senior Management on their individual and Firm-level obligations.
At Barclays, as the Director and Global Head of Compliance Risk Assessment, Policy & Regulatory Change Oversight, Devon led the development of a global compliance risk assessment application. She also worked closely with offices globally to understand local regulations and created a comprehensive suite of Global Policies and Global Standards designed to align with diverse jurisdictional regulatory requirements and the group risk appetite.
Devon’s experience spans sectors beyond banking, including investment management and professional services, enabling her to effectively support clients across various industries. Devon excels in building compliance frameworks from the ground up and adapting to evolving regulatory landscapes. She is particularly motivated by the opportunity to deliver scalable compliance solutions to smaller firms, considering their unique operating structures. She believes that the sophisticated solutions developed for larger organisations can be pragmatically adapted to smaller firms, offering them strategic insights and robust compliance practices that drive success.
